What can I say? The first part of the Grand Canyon was great. But that was
last year's trip. Not long after that trip I booked another
rafting excursion with Outdoor Adventure River Specialists
(OARS) so I could experience the rest of the canyon.
This trip took us from Phantom Ranch to Whitmore Wash. It was a bit longer too - nine
wonderful days. So what's different? More rapids!!!!! The rapids on this trip were
spectacular. The second day of the trip was just rapid after rapid after rapid.
One of the most enjoyable experiences was at Havasu Canyon. We spent the entire day there.
Some of us went on about 6 or 7 mile hike to Beaver Falls. Really cool place and worth the hike in.
